Vehicles rented through TUMCAR are insured in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Depending on the reservation, different insurance and protection options may be available.

1. Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
Covers insured damage caused to third parties in road traffic, subject to applicable legal requirements and the relevant policy and coverage limits.

2. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) – With Deductible
Provides protection against covered damage to the rental vehicle. Depending on the vehicle group and the conditions of the relevant rental partner, a deductible/excess may apply.

3. Theft Protection (TP)
Provides protection in the event of vehicle theft in accordance with the rental agreement and applicable insurance conditions.

Super CDW – Reduced or Zero Deductible
May reduce the amount the customer is responsible for in the event of covered damage or, depending on the conditions of the selected protection package, may reduce the deductible to zero.

Glass, Tyre and Headlight Protection
Depending on the selected protection package, additional coverage may be available for damage to the following vehicle components:

• Windscreen
• Side windows
• Tyres
• Headlights

Damage to glass, tyres or headlights may be excluded from standard damage protection. The exact coverage is determined by the conditions stated in the reservation confirmation and rental agreement.

Underbody and Engine Protection
Depending on the selected protection package, additional coverage may be available for certain damage to the underside of the vehicle caused by poor road conditions, potholes, stones or other foreign objects.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
May provide protection for the driver and passengers in the event of accident-related injuries, subject to the applicable policy conditions and coverage limits.

Insurance and protection benefits are subject to specific terms and conditions. Coverage may be partially or completely invalidated in situations including:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Gross negligence, intentional misuse or deliberate damage to the vehicle
• Taking or using the vehicle outside the Republic of Türkiye without authorisation
• Use of the vehicle by a person who is not registered as an authorised driver in the rental agreement
• Using the vehicle for racing, speed testing or any other purpose not permitted under the rental agreement
• Failure to obtain required accident reports, police reports or other necessary documents following an accident or damage

Yes. If your vehicle meets TUMCAR's requirements regarding vehicle age, mileage, technical condition and other acceptance criteria, you can rent your vehicle to TUMCAR.

After a successful evaluation, TUMCAR rents your vehicle from you for a fixed rental fee agreed between you and TUMCAR. During the agreed rental period and in accordance with the contract, TUMCAR may rent the vehicle to its own customers or third parties.

Vehicles offered to TUMCAR are evaluated before being accepted. The assessment may include the following criteria:

• Vehicle age and model year
• Mileage
• General technical and mechanical condition
• Maintenance condition and service history
• Damage and accident history
• Vehicle registration and required documents
• Insurance conditions
• Overall condition and suitability for rental use

1. You offer your vehicle to TUMCAR.
You provide us with the make, model, model year, mileage and other required information about your vehicle.

2. The vehicle is evaluated.
TUMCAR checks whether the vehicle meets the requirements for inclusion in its rental system.

3. The rental fee is agreed.
If the vehicle is accepted, the vehicle owner and TUMCAR agree on a fixed rental fee.

4. A rental agreement is signed.
The rental period, rental fee, mileage conditions, permitted use, maintenance responsibilities and the rights and obligations of both parties are specified in the agreement.

5. TUMCAR may rent your vehicle to customers.
Provided that the necessary authorisation is included in the agreement, TUMCAR may rent the vehicle to its own customers or third parties.
